Hermes – Air Transport Organisation has the following classes of members:
Regular members
Any person interested in promoting the objects or the purposes of Hermes and who have made for at least 5 years of contribution to aviation at a leadership level may become a regular member
Permanent members
The status of permanent member may be granted to any person interested in promoting, and in continuing on a permanent basis to, the objects or the purposes of Hermes. Such person must have made for at least 10 years of contribution to aviation at a leadership level
Lifetime members
The directors may grant the status of lifetime member to any person interested in paying a prescribed fee in lieu and instead of annual fees. Such person must have made for at least 15 years of contribution to aviation at a leadership level.
Associate members
Any person who does not satisfy the conditions necessary for acquiring the status of regular member but who demonstrates an intention to promote the objects or the purposes of Hermes and is closely associated to aviation at a leadership level for at least 3 years.
Honorary members
Each year the directors may designate one or more persons to be Honorary members of Hermes. Such person must have made and may continue to be making highly distinguished contributions to aviation at a top leadership level.
