Aviation industry unites to support global development by signing the “Aviation4All” declaration

Ekali, 8 December 2024: In recognition of the 80th anniversary of ICAO and the signing of the Chicago Convention, a number of international organizations and leading aviation businesses have united to commit to a vision for an even better tomorrow.

Under the Aviation4All Declaration, an initial group of 43 organizations and businesses, jointly assert their commitment to the International Aviation Forum (IAF) document which addresses the most critical aspects of commercial aviation to ensure sustainable and prosperous growth.

Addressing topics such as; 

  • Environmental commitments to “net zero”
  • Enhanced inclusivity and diversity in the workplace
  • Increased global accessibility
  • Enhanced safety and security to protect passengers, customers, and the workforce
  • Improved customer and shipper experience
  • Adoption of seamless technology-based solutions
  • Improved operational performance to minimize service disruptions
  • Extended reach of aviation to a greater percentage of the global population 
  • Enhanced positive impact on society

A shared vision for a brighter tomorrow, ensuring the value and benefits of commercial aviation can further support and enhance the development of the global community.

 “We are thrilled to launch the Aviation4All declaration that unites our industry with a vision to build a better future for aviation and our society” stated Dr Kostas Iatrou, co-Executive Director of IAF.

“The industry is at a cross roads and needs to unite around a common vision for the future.  We are very pleased that more than 40 organizations are the first to sign and we urge many more to consider adding their support to the declaration. The louder the voice the more we will be heard” stated Mehmet Nane, Chair of the Board Pegasus Airlines and co-Executive Director of IAF.
